Les chercheurs sont regroup\u00e9s au sein de l\u2019\u00e9quipe de recherche en \u00e9ducation scientifique et technologique (EREST). \u00ab Les sciences se pr\u00eatent bien aux simulations et aux jeux vid\u00e9o, affirme Martin Riopel. Elles permettent de produire des mod\u00e8les et de cr\u00e9er des univers que l\u2019on peut explorer de mani\u00e8re r\u00e9aliste ou sch\u00e9matique. \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019\u00e9tude d\u00e9montre que l\u2019effet des jeux s\u00e9rieux est plus important \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9cole secondaire qu\u2019au primaire ou au postsecondaire. \u00abCette d\u00e9couverte est \u00e9tonnante, puisqu\u2019on pourrait s\u2019attendre \u00e0 ce que l\u2019impact soit plus grand chez les plus jeunes\u00bb, mentionne le professeur.<\/p>\n<p>La dur\u00e9e du jeu \u2013 plus le jeu est court, plus l\u2019effet est grand \u2013 et le sentiment de contr\u00f4le de l\u2019usager ont aussi un impact d\u00e9terminant sur l\u2019apprentissage.
